You may recognize me as the lead singer from several Denver based corporate bands. After many years on the circuit, I’ve decided to pursue a bigger personal project, The Michael C. Experience. The project’s name pays homage to my good friend, Ron Washington, who passed away during its creation. Ron and I were brainstorming names one day when he said, “You know Michael, I always look forward to your shows because each one is so much more than a show. It’s an experience!” So here you have it…The Michael C. Experience.

Michael C is one of the most underrated singers in Colorado. He’s got so much soul and brings the life to any party. Of course we had to have him perform at my wedding and he KILLED IT! He dedicated a song to me and my wife Tajia, and kicked off the dance party part of our reception with “This is how we do it” by Montell Jordan. It was the perfect way to transition to the DJ, and it got everybody off their feet. It couldn’t have been better. As the Activities Director of the Roaring Fork Club in Basalt, CO I have been working with Michael C since 2008. Over the years we have hired a variety of bands- BUT- there is no band that gets our members out on the dance floor like Michael C’s bands. From New Years Eves to Fourth of July to weddings, this band always gets the party started! From booking to set up and clean up, Michael and his bandmates are true professionals and a delight to work with- you will not be disappointed with the Michael C Experience!
Michael performed at our wedding and it was one of the highlights of the day. His performance was not only a special touch during our ceremony but the performance that evening during our celebration is one that is still talked about! His music and performance was phenomenal and Michael was the best to work with in planning and logistics.
I’ve been a fan of Micheal C since his early childhood. He honestly thought he was James Brown and entertained the entire neighborhood. He actually had an audience of adults, teenagers and children. He performed like James in all aspects from the hats, capes, instructing the band and mesmerizing the females.

Most recently, we and several members of our family attended the kick off performance by Michael and his new band The Michael C Experience and had a delightful evening of listening and dancing. The new group was fantastic…the renditions/arrangements of popular soul, blues, and rock and roll were great, the background vocalists fit right in with the band, and the beat was strong. Michael C. was at his best with his vocals and interaction with the audience. Everyone in attendance had a wonderful time!!! We have never had a bad experience attending his performances over the years and celebrate this new phase of Michael C’s music performances.
